Privacy Policy
Plain language about what we collect, why, and how you can control it. Last updated August 1, 2026.
Who we are
Avarie Media LLC ("Avarie Media," "we," "us," or "our") is a digital studio based in New Jersey that builds websites and marketing systems for local service businesses. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through avariemedia.com (the "Site") and in the course of providing our services.
Information we collect
We collect information in a few specific ways:
- Information you submit directly. When you fill out a form on the Site — including the free website assessment request, contact form, or a strategy call request — we collect what you provide, which typically includes your name, business name, email address, phone number, website URL, and details about your business and goals.
- Automatically collected information. When you visit the Site, we automatically receive some technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring URL, through standard web server logs and analytics tools.
- Attribution and campaign data. We store UTM parameters and similar attribution data (for example, which ad or link brought you to the Site) temporarily in your browser's sessionStorage, so that if you submit a form later in the same session, we know which marketing effort to credit. This data does not persist once you close your browser session and is not a persistent tracking identifier on its own.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries, assessment requests, and strategy call requests
- Deliver, manage, and improve the services we provide to clients
- Send appointment reminders, project updates, and requested follow-up communications
- Understand which pages, campaigns, and channels are working, in aggregate
- Meet our legal, accounting, and contractual obligations
We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Cookies & tracking technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- Meta Pixel. We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how visitors interact with the Site after seeing an ad on Meta platforms, and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. Meta may use this data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
- Google Analytics. When enabled, Google Analytics helps us understand aggregate traffic patterns and site usage. Google's use of data collected through Analytics is governed by Google's privacy policy.
- sessionStorage attribution data. As described above, campaign and referral information may be temporarily stored in your browser to support accurate attribution if you submit a form.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Doing so may affect how some parts of the Site function.
Third-party tools we use
To operate our business and respond to inquiries, we share form submission data with a limited set of service providers, including:
- HubSpot — our customer relationship management (CRM) platform, used to store and manage inquiries, communications, and client records.
- Make.com — an automation platform we use to route form submissions between our website and internal tools (such as HubSpot and email/SMS notification systems) via secure webhooks.
These providers process information on our behalf and are contractually and technically restricted from using it for their own independent purposes.
How we communicate with you
If you submit a form or otherwise contact us, we may follow up by email, phone, or text message (SMS) using the contact details you provided, to respond to your inquiry, schedule a call, or share information about our services. You can ask to stop receiving communications from us at any time — see "Your rights and choices" below.
Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry, deliver services, maintain business records, and meet legal or accounting obligations. If you become a client, information related to that engagement is generally retained for the duration of the relationship and for a reasonable period afterward. If you'd like your information deleted sooner, contact us and we will honor that request except where we're required to retain records by law.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain uses such as marketing communications or the sale/sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information). To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@avariemedia.com. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe and may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
You can also opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, and you can reply "STOP" to any SMS message to stop receiving text communications from us.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect the personal information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for business owners and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
